too much pen makes the pencil jealous so I broke out the lead and put it to the paper. After months of sketchbook neglect I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I should draw some fish.

these don't really feel done till I see them in print now... otherwise, its just a bunch of ones and zeros right? Here it is on newsprint.

In the works to come, I intend to use the visual language of the popular arts to create a series of prints in the spirit of Francisco Goya's "Los Caprichos". Starting with this one.

I fell asleep with the tv on the the other night. I barely remember but I kinda rolled up an eyelid halfway in the middle of the night and got a little bit of a newsclip about a some lady who was discovered to have a few dead fetus's of her own lying around her home in garbage bags and such. one under the sink counter of her bathroom or something like that. I don't know. I was half asleep, but I was very fucking disturbed. I shut the tv off and had a nightmare about it... I'm still disturbed by it all. But I drew this picture which I will soon put up in color... I like to think that when it is completed it will be remnant of Francisco Goya's "Saturn devouring his son.,"crossed with the many "Madonna and Child" paintings we've seen throughout the centuries. Anyway, I don't make the people. I just draw the pictures. I'm calling this one "The Black Heart Mother." check back for the color version soon.
